In a profound moment of clarity, she saw that her life could be about empowering women—especially those facing the overwhelming fear, shame, and uncertainty of an unplanned pregnancy.
What she hadn’t expected was that this calling would awaken a long-buried chapter of her own life: at 19, she had an abortion after facing societal and familial pressure. Though she had done therapy, it was in the Landmark Forum that she realized the lingering impact of that decision and found the power to transform it into her mission.
From Inspiration to Action
Within days of completing the course, Adelina resigned from her corporate role and began laying the foundation for Life Call. Her very first public speaking appearance was at the European Parliament—a leap she never imagined taking until she committed to the possibility of making a difference.
What Life Call Does
Founded in 2019, Life Call supports women during pregnancy and beyond, especially those abandoned by partners or rejected by their families. Services include:
- Free psychological counseling
- Housing and rent support
- Material assistance (diapers, formula, baby clothes)
- Education and vocational training
- Ongoing care until the child reaches two years old
Rather than stopping at birth, Life Call stays with each mother through the critical early years, empowering them to build a future for themselves and their children.
A Shelter for the Future
Adelina shared her vision for the future: Romania’s largest residential maternity center for homeless pregnant women. Life Call has already secured the land, and construction is set to begin—an extraordinary milestone for a project that started with a single conversation and a courageous yes.
The Role of Landmark in Her Transformation
Adelina credits Landmark’s programs with giving her the tools and confidence to take bold action in the face of uncertainty. The Advanced Course and the Introduction Leaders Program helped her shift from fear to freedom, from hesitation to leadership.

When asked how she hopes to be remembered, Adelina simply says: “That I was the source of lives being born.” She draws strength from the generations that made her life possible—and now dedicates her own to creating generations that might otherwise not have had the chance.
