Driven by this vision and his personal commitment, Dr. Petersen led the creation of the Charlotte Kimmelman Cancer Institute in the U.S. Virgin Islands, providing comprehensive cancer care where none previously existed. We also delve into Dr. Petersen’s current mission: the Africa Continental Cancer Center and Research Institute, which will be based in Ghana.
