Every Monday 5:45 - 7:00 (or later) NYC time—limited to 100 participants.
While participation in the call is free of charge, we do invite participants to donate to the Fund for Ontological Inquiry in Education, which is designated for the benefit of Rowan students, faculty, and staff creating and maintaining Turning Toward Being: the Journal of Ontological Inquiry in Education.
Owning one’s own copy of Speaking Being is encouraged, but not necessary to participate, as an electronic version of the book is shared during the call. For the first hour of the call, we read the book Speaking Being aloud either in the whole group, or in smaller break out groups, so that anyone who wants to read out loud can do so, unless they only wish to listen.
As we read, questions and comments are welcomed as long as any questions and comments remain within the domain of the book and the particular passage we are reading. The conversation throughout is managed by Drew Kopp, co-author of the book, who may or may not call on those who have raised their electronic hands to share during the reading of the book. Beginning at around 6:45, the floor is opened to share and discuss what has opened up for people out of reading the text together.
Here is the intention of the call:
to practice both horizontal and vertical reading, that is, to read the text carefully--from beginning to end, getting what the text says--and to read it closely, that is, to be open to surprise and to then follow lines of flight that emerge from looking with wonder at what shows up in reading the text, all the while maintaining the ontological direction of the conversation such that each and every participant--whether reading or listening or engaging in the inquiry emerging from the reading--discovers something for themselves today, which they may or may not share on the call.

The call takes place every Monday unless falling on a holiday.
Come join us for our monthly in-person get-togethers with Landmark Graduates at an Asheville area restaurant, the second Sunday of each month. It's an opportunity to connect, share, laugh, eat, and be totally social. Occasionally, we have outings - to a baseball game, or a pool party!
We are an ATL based WhatsApp community who share, support and get together with each month at a restaurant or meeting space to represence a distinction or practice. We keep each other empowered and encourage on-going participation! There is no top of Transformation Mountain and without a transformed community, it’s a steep slope to ordinary!
We are committed to supporting Military members, Veterans, and their families discover and live their most fulfilled lives. Our vision is that, sooner rather than later, Landmark will offer community forums on a regular basis that are dedicated entirely to serving Military members, Veterans, and their loved ones. Imagine the impact if everyone who serves—or knows someone who serves—had the opportunity to participate in a forum either at the beginning of their military journey or at some point throughout their career. The transformation that could unfold worldwide would be truly extraordinary!
If you feel called to make a difference for the military community, our country, the federal government, and beyond, this group is for you! We need graduates who can invite guests, and we also need graduates who can support behind the scenes—creating flyers for community introductions, managing social media, making occasional phone calls, tracking information, and assisting with other light administrative tasks. Even if you don’t personally know any Military members, your skills and talents may still be a valuable contribution.
We also have a special community introduction scheduled for February 11 at 4:00 p.m. Pacific / 7:00 p.m. Eastern, led by forum leader and Air Force Veteran Erin Snyder. Consider causing guests for this introduction!
Please reach out if you have any questions or if you’d like to be part of this exciting movement!
Welcome!
This group is FOR the extraordinary community of Wisdom Unlimited graduates worldwide!
This group is created and generated by graduates and it is NOT monitored by Landmark Worldwide nor the Wisdom Area staff.
